Therapy is an opportunity to discuss and talk about issues that are important to the client all while having a trained objective person (Therapist) help work through not only the current situation but in dealing with similar situations in the future.

Therapy can be about one specific problem, or it can be about multiple. Since therapy is a collaborative event, it requires an active role from both the client and the Therapist for change to occur.

A therapy session is usually between 45-50 minutes. Clients typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the client’s needs.

The length of time while in therapy will depend on the individual client’s circumstance. This will be determined together upon the first session.

The first session will be an initial assessment to discuss the client’s history and needs for treatment. During this initial session the client will have the opportunity to see how therapy works. Office policies, privacy and confidentiality will also be reviewed at this time.

** It’s vital to have a positive working relationship with your therapist. It’s recommended that the client attends 2-3 sessions before deciding whether or not the relationship will continue. **

If I feel someone else might be a better fit, the client will be provided with referrals of specialists or trusted colleagues.

Yes, some insurance plans are accepted.

I am in network with the following companies:

Out of network sessions range between $140-$200 with limited spots available for sliding scale.

There is a $100 charge for a NO SHOW/LATE CANCELLATION.

CANCELLATIONS

The client is expected to attend each scheduled session on time. A canceled or delayed appointment delays our work and can negatively impact other clients.

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. Your appointment is reserved specifically for you, and out of respect for your therapist and other clients please make sure to follow all cancellation policies to ensure the most efficient use of time.

More than 24-hour notice is appreciated when possible.

If you should know before the required 24-hour notice that you will not be able to attend our session, PLEASE call or text.

*Note- if your appointment is on a Monday, the cancellation needs to be provided no later than the prior Friday, by your appointment time, to be considered proper 24-hour notice.
